rOUH MEDFORD MAIL TRIBUrTE ASHLAND DEATH Ashland, Feb. 8 District At torney George Neilson of Med ford said no Inquest will be held in the death of E. C. Edwards, about 30, whose body was found lying face, down in a drainage ditch near the Southern Oregon College of Education campus yesterday morning. Death was due to drowning, Deputy Coro ner C. M. Litwiller said. City police said two people had said they talked to Edwards at about 4 am. near the place where he war found dead but left him as Edwards started to walk to town. The body, covered by snow, was not found until 10:40 a. m. Police scrutinized the case closely Inasmuch as Edwards had reportedly been involved In a .-omantic triangle but said they could find no evidence to lnd cate foul Dlav in his death. Leland Edwards, brother of the dead man, was to arrive to- day from Nampa, Ida., to claim the body.
