J., Feb. 5 ttl.PJ The little fat man still thinks he can chain black lightning. Tony Galento, the old two-ton guy who now comes closer to weighing three, made that clear today as he challenged Joe Louis to give him another crack at the world heavyweight champion ship. "I'll stiffen the bum if he ever gives me another chante," Galen to proclaimed with all his old time modesty. Galento Serious "I shoulda did it before, too," quoth the man who quit school when he was in "advanced eighth grade." Galento, the belligerent bar tender, was very serious. Wav ing arms that protruded like the flippers on a penguin, the barrel who walks like a man declaimed that It was a maltcr of honor. Tony doesn't need the money, it says here. "I'll fight him for free," Tony roared. "I'm not trying to capullze (Galentolsm) on my flghtin' ability. I'll take the bum on for Veterans' Behallba tatlon (more Galcntolsm.") Training Tony Is somewhat of a problem, Willie (The Beard) Gilzenberg revealed as Tony stepped to the front to help five arguing customers to the side walk. Greene-Lea Cocker Reserve Winner at Golden Gate Show Bun Tan, nine and. one-half months old red male cocker spaniel, owned by the Greene- Lea Kennels of Medford, went reserve winner Feb. 3 at the Golden Gate Kennel Club show In San Francisco. One of the largest shows on the coast, the puppy, sired by Ch. Stockdale Startler and out of Ch. Greene Lea Town Debutante, was in competition with 18 other males, including some of the best on the Pacific coast, accord ing to the agent of Mrs. Charles R. Greene, owner of the ken nels. Two litter brothers of Sun Tan are considered even more promising, it was stated. Interest In the show was very great, the agent said, a record crowd of 25,000 jamming the Civic auditorium. MISSING BRITISH UNIT FOUND IN MASS GRAVE San Francisco, Feb. 5 (U.PJ A mass grave containing the bodies of 492 members of a Brit ish artillery regiment missing since the fall of Singapore has been .found on a lonely Island off the coast of Bougainville, Melbourne radio said today. The men had either been shot through the head or decapitated "since the surrender of Japan," the broadcast said, quoting an unidentified Royal Australian Air Force captain who Just re turned from Bougainville to Sydney.
