From Hillsfcoro Cecil Fox of Hillsboro, Ore., is visiting In the city for a short time and is at present employed by the Borah saw-filing shop. Grlgsby, Sr. Gaines Hera William G Gaines, AOM3C, who has spent the past two and one-half years as an aerial gunner with tne naval air corps, is now stationed on shore patrol in Medford while awaiting an honorable discharge from the service Gaines is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gaines, 119 Portland Stout Rjturni Richard Stout, former staff sergeant in the army, with Mrs. Stout ana their daughter have arrived in Medford and are at the home of Mr. Stout's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stout, 415 Summit avenue. The former sergeant was recently discharged at Ft. Lewis after having served two and one-half years, including IS months in Germany with the 70th Division. Purchases Home Purchase of the Noel Neal home on Maple Park drive was announced Sat urday by Mrs. Mildred Horn- ecker who is employed In the office of the plane dispatcher at the Medford airfield. Mrs Hornecker said she expected to move to her new home this week with the departure of Mr and Mrs. Neal for Los Angeles Mr. Neal returned recently after service with the 98th division. Devaney on East Jackson street. Ensign Devaney has spent the past three years on duty in the Pacific aboard the Catamount, LSD-17. Also visiting Mrs. De vaney last week were her son-in-law and daughter, Maj. and Mrs. C. R. Howarth of Vancou ver. Maj. Howarth is on ter minal leave from the army after serving the past four years with the veterinary corps. The couple are to visit in Seattle before re turning to their Vancouver home. Both Mrs. Howarth. and the naval officer are graduates of St. Mary's academy. Yugoslav, Greece Relations Improve Marshal Tito Says Belprade, Feb. 1 (U.R) Mar shall Tito, head of the govern ment formed after the Yugoslav constituent assembly adopted a new constitution, told a joint session of parliament tonight that Yugoslavia's relations with Greece have improved. Outlining his government's program, he expressed determin ation to press Yugoslavia's de mands for teiritory and repara tions from Axis enemies, (not ably Italy). He said some of Yugoslavia's allies have misun derstood her need for repara tions. He made no comment on re lations with Italy, from which the Yugoslav seek territory and reparations. He will be prime minister and minister of national defense.
