Dark corners are lighted, by built-in lighting fixtures. The leisure room has "black light" lamps concealed in the cornices along with the fluor escent lamps. Silver -colored wallpaper treated with fluores cent paints appears subdued un der the fluorescent lighting, but "leaps to life" when irradiated by the invisible ultraviolet black light rays. Pillows and playing cards also are activated by the black light radiations. The kitchen is fluorescent lighted, with local fixtures con cealed at strategic points such as above the sinks. The laundry boasts a special fluorescent light ing unit which pops out of the laundry wall with the ironing board to make work light. And the lights come in assorted sizes and shapes to complement the furnishings. $30,000 Approved For Operation Of Vets Commission Salem, Jan. 22 (U.R) The Oregon State Emergency board has approved emergency appro priations totaling $55,000, Bud get Director George Aiken re ports. .
