Mr. Nelson will be at the United States Em ployment office Jan. 0, It was said. Former Sergeant Home For mer army sergeant, Desmond L. Sweet, returned home yesterday after receiving an honorable dis charge at the separation center at Ft. Lewis. Sweet served 28 months overseas where he par ticipated in the liberation of the Philippines. He received the good conduct medal, Philippine liberation ribbon and one bronze battle star, victory medal, Amer ican theater ribbon and the Asiatic-Pacific theater ribbon. He is residing at the home of hia moth er, Mrs. Blanche Sweet, and brother, M. B.
