Oak Grove Teacher Of 30 Years Ago Wants Mistletoe A request for Oregon mistle toe, especially that from the Oak Grove district, was received this week by Mrs. Mary Schiller, principal of the Oak Grove school, from Mrs. Lucile Rader Powell, former primary teacher of the school, who now resides in Washington, D. C. Mrs. Powell, who wrote that she had missed the holiday greenery every year since leav ing Oregon 80 years ago, and would like some mistletoe for the Christmas holidays this year, asked also that her best regards be given the "old timers who may still remember Miss Rader who married the principal and moved to Washington, D. C." The former teacher's husband, R. H. Powell, Is now an Instruc tor in the Washington Cathedral School for Boys. Carl Norris, Lozier Lane, dis trict clerk of the school and for mer student of Mrs. Powell's, has been given the task of sup plying Mrs. Powell with mistle toe for the coming holidays. SOCE MUSIC PROGRAM CHANGED TO TOMORROW Southern Oregon College of Education, Ashland, Dec. 13 The date of the Christmas music program at the Southern Ore gon College of Education has been set for Friday, Dec. 14. at 9:40 a. m., instead of Sunday, Dec. 18, as previously announc ed. Wallace Sapp of the depart ment of music, announcing the change of date, expressed regret and invited those interested In the program to hear it at the new date. Thursday.
