STAFF PRAISED FOR HELP GIVEN 10 X-RAY UNIT High praise for the staff of the Timber Products company, where the moxile X-ray unit was set up yesterday, was voiced last night by Mrs. Dwight Find ley as she reported 356 people X-rayed In the third day of the public health program. The unit used the facilities of the Tim ber Products" first aid office and throughout the day John Ebv and V. W. Kengla of the com pany assisted the Jackson Coun ty Public Health association and the technicians of the Oregon Tuberculosis association. Technicians Lauded The technicians, who worked hard to turn out an increase in X-rays each day, also won en thusiastic praise from the coun ty committee. "Messrs. Today the mobile unit is located at the county courthouse for the first time. X-rays will be taken until 7 p. m., to enable working men and women to take advantage of the service. Assisting for the Public Health association yes t e r d a y were Mrs. Jack Walker, Mrs. Glenn A. Gibbons, Mrs. Joe Hearin, Mrs. Kenneth Denman and Mrs. Robert Hart. Monday and Tuesday the mo bile unit will operate again at the courthouse location from 10 a. m. to noon and 1 p. m. to 4 p. m. Anyone wishing more phone the county health depart ment 4383. While physical combat is over for most of the armed forces they too can help in the battle for peace. Victory bonds are a safe and sound investment for accumulated and mustering-out pay.
