Can atufsaitce beat it fa fine tdtnafa faior? LET'S ASK THE WOMEN WHO COOK WITH DEL MONTE! 2outof3offkem have useditmore "than 10 years Del Monte Tomato Sauce has been the grand old cooking sauce of western housewives, for years! Was their favorite is their favoritel And even during the war, when it was hard to get, they didn't forget it. Certainly not! . How do we know? Well, one of America's largest independent research organizations went out and asked them. And what did Del Monte users say about Del Monte Tomato Sauce? Plenty! Enthusiasm such as even we never expected! Just listen to Mrs. Clove, for instance: iSSSSSr. "For iV.l ... Ot -TfttBv" (A 1 my money, no other sauce can touch it!'' iMt" . The flavor is just right for our taste. It makes any dish zesty and peppy and better looking, too. Once during the war I had to use another sauce and the family noticed the difference right away. Do you do a lot of cooking, Mrs. Clove? Only for a family of nine! We use lots of plain meaU in one-dish meals lots of big vegetable casseroles. I just wouldn't know how to make them without Del Monte Tomato Sauce. It has been my standby for tomato flavor ever since we came to California, 22 years ago. My husband likes to cook, too. He was responsible for making my goulash recipe better with Del Monte Tomato Sauce! Now let's talk about that family favorite recipe. The children call it Clove's Special. It's based on an old Armenian recipe, but we've made it over using ground round instead of lamb, and Del Monte Tomato Sauce. It's easy to make, everybody likes it, and it's a good family-filler. By the way, Del Monte Green Beans are fine in this recipe. I like to use them they're so nice and green and always taste so fresh. so, -fbr tick Idmato goodness every time BE SURE IT'S .1 u . -lt
