SI my FOR WASTE FAIS Washington, Sept. 27 (U.R) The nation's housewives will re ceive four red points a pound in stead of two for their waste kitchen fats starting Oct. 1 un der a government program to offset a serious shortage of In dustrial fats. The price of waste fat will remain at four cents a pound. Secretary of Agriculture Clin ton P. Anderson said that every pound of waste fats was needed to "speed up the return of plenti ful supplies of soap to the groc er s shelves." ALUMINUM COMPETITION IS PUT UP TO CONGRESS Washington, Sept. 27 (U.R) Congress was faced today with a demand by the surplus proper ty board to assure "effective competition" in the aluminum industry by disposing of the gov ernment s $739,000,000 alumi num holdings to competitors of the Aluminum Company of America. The board said sale of the gov ernment's huge bauxite plant at Jones Mills, Ark., and its 52 major aluminum plants to ALCOA'S competitors would "fulfill one of the brightest op portunities for market expansion in the history of industrial materials." Variety quoted Roosevelt as saying part of the stock is now in possession of his former wife, Ruth Goggins of Dallas, Tex., and in trust, for the children of their marriage. Roosevelt, recently placed on the army air forces inactive ros ter, plans to return to radio In a capacity he cannot yet reveal, Variety said. The son of the late President Franklin D.
