Ord, Calif., having completed his basic training at Camp Roberts. Davidson is visiting his wife at the family home, 24 Ross Court and will report for further ser vice June 27. Extend Invitation Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Cuffel, 909 North Cen tral avenue, today extended an invitation to friends of the fam ily to attend the wedding of their daughter, Ruth, to Lt. John A. Hunter, which will take place this evening at the Methodist church at eight o'clock. The wedding will be informal. Sheriff Improves The condi tion of Sheriff Syd I. Brown is somewhat improved according to a report this morning from his office. He has been ill at his home here for the past three months following an operation in Portland.
