vidson arrived in Medford Wed
nesday on a delay-en-route from
Camp Roberts, Calif., to Ft. Ord,
Calif., having completed his
basic training at Camp Roberts.
Davidson is visiting his wife at
the family home, 24 Ross Court
and will report for further ser
vice June 27.

Sheriff Improves The condi
tion of Sheriff Syd I. Brown is
somewhat improved according to
a report this morning from his
office. He has been ill at his
home here for the past three
months following an operation
in Portland. The sheriff has
spent two restful nights after
having been in an oxygen tent
for several days, deputies report.
