Tucker's Medford high baseball team, led their club in batting during the recently completed southern Oregon high school league. Each was at bat 31 times and collected 12 hits for a .387 mark. Red Davis, who saw action as a relief pitcher and pinch hitter, stepped to the plate IS times and slammed out four blows for a .266 figure. Other percentages were Don Waldron, 27 limes up, seven hits ior .259; LeRoy House at bat 22 times, five hits ior .227! They lost their first game ot the season, 5 to 3 let-back at the handt of the Cavemen, and went on to beat Eagle Point 6 to 5, Athland 4 'to 2.
