School hours will be from 9 to 11:30 a. m. Monday through Friday each of the two weeks. An interesting program with plenty of activities is being ar ranged, according to a church spokesman. Riverside Phone 47S7 CHURCHES OF CITY PLAN SUMMER The Medford Ministrlal as sociation through its committee chairman. Dr. Louis C. Kirby, announced today that many churches of the city have planned to conduct a vacation Bible school beginning Monday, June 4, and continuing through June. 15. Devotions and class work, con sisting of studies in the Bible, missions, handcraft and recrea tion will be held every day from 9 to 11:30 a. m. Many of the churches, also plan a picnic on Friday, June 15, and a demon stration service in the church showing the kind of work done during the Bible school sessions. There will be classes for children from the nursery through the junior high grades. Parents of the community are urged by the committee to select a school and send their children regularly each day for instruc tion. . . NAZARENE VACATION SCHOOL IS SCHEDULED Daily vacation Bible school classes will begin next Monday at 9 a. m. at the Church of the Nazarene, corner of 1st and Holly streets with Mrs. Dora Mae Shepard as director. Mrs. Shepard, who comes from Burns, Ore., has had rich experience in teaching both in public schools and also in con ducting city-wide vacation Bible schools, according to the church announcement. Classes will begin at 9 each morning and continue to 12 o'clock. Handwork classes will be provided and special courses in music, memory-work and Bi ble note-book work with pictures will be featured daily. ST. PETER'S LUTHERAN SLATES BIBLE SCHOOL St. Peter's Lutheran Church, comer East Main and Portland avenue, will again sponsor a va cation Bible school, June 4 to June 15. Sessions will be held each day, Mondays through Fri days from 9 to noon, with classes for children four to 15 years of age. A staff of competent teachers has been selected, according to the announcement. Courses will be given in Bible history, a mem ory course on Bible passages, commandments and the Apostles Creed, books of the Bible, and Biblical art. According to the pastor, Harry H. Young, if the film is available, the school will feature a movie on the Life of Christ. This film will also be shown to adults Thursday, June 7 at 8 p. m. No admission charge, but a silver offering will be taken to help pay the rental fee. Christian Church Vacation School Will Open June 4 Daily vacation Bible school will be held by the First Chris tian church. Ninth and Oakdale, beginning June 4 and continuing through June 15, it was an nounced today. Sessions will be from 9 a. m. until 11:30 a. m. Monday through Friday. Children will be divided into four groups. Theme for begin ners will be ""let's go out of doors," primary theme will be "exploring God's out of doors," juniors will study "discovering the Holy Land" and intermedi ates, "the life of Christ."
