Mar "45 CIRCUS TO HERE TOMORROW The spirit of the circus will be In the air tomorrow when Ar thur Brothers circus, with its trumpeting bands, red wagons, spangles and pink lemonade In vades Medford for two showings, at 2:30 and 8 p. m., with doors scheduled to open an hour earli er to allow patrons a leisurely hour to visit the managerle. The special steel railroad equipment will start to arrive about dawn over the Southern Pacific tracks and a goodly gathering of young sters and grown-ups are expect ed to gather around the railroad yards to watch the unloading. As almost everyone knows, the modern circus has grown to such proportions that it is im possible to hold the old-time street parades anymore but un loading of the brightly-colored railroad cars of their burdens, the herd of elephants stepping from their side-door pullmans, the hundreds of horses, yaks, camels, zebras and cage after cage of wild animals promises to be a free show that will not be overlooked. ' More than 26 holidays and SO thrilling acts will be presented at the circus grounds. Among the features will be Ken May nard in person end Tarzun, mo t i o n picture wonder horse; Cheerful Gardner's Royal India elephants; Jorgen M. Christian sen's Criollo Liberty horses; Miss Arieletta, "Queen of the A,ir"; Buddy, the motion picture sea lion; the great Sing Lee Sing troupe; the Great Ortons; Ace- vado Trio and dozens oi siap- hanrjy clowns. Paul S. Dick Rites Set For Saturday Funeral services will be held in Portland tomorrow for Paul S. Dick, chairman of the board of the United States National bank and a veteran of almost 50 years of banking In Portland, who died Wednesday In a Port land hospital following a heart attack. Dick had had an out standing career in the banking field, having risen from elevator operator, Janitor and messenger to presidency of the bank with its 26 branches. He was promot ed from president to chairman of the board March 80 of thl year. Survivors are his widow and three sons, Harvey F., Philip V., and Robert L. Dick, Philip being a major in the army.
