Improved Mrs. Sarah Nash, who has been ill at her home, 1207 West Main street, for the past three weeks. Is reported to be much unproved. BOY SCOUTS TO COLLECT WASTE General collection of waste paper from individual Boy Scout troop storage places will take place Saturday, May 12, it was announced today by Gordon Gil more, scout executive. Camp White will furnish five trucks and drivers to gather the paper and each troop is asked to furn ish at least six boys and an adult to man the trucks, Gilmore said. Scouts are asked to meet at the scout office at 8:45 a.m. Each troop's paper will be weighed separately and a record kept so that each troop will get all the money due it, Gilmore said. The paper will be shipped to the Pacific Paper Mills com pany of Portland for the top market price. Pinnacle Packing plant num ber three will be available for two days prior to the general pick-up day as a central collec tion depot for people who have waste paper and can bring it in themselves. This paper will be loaded in the same car but weighed separately. Money from the oaner brought to the collec tion depot will be divided be tween the troops who help to load and prepare it and who help to clean up the depot, tacn troop is asked not to send more than eight boys to help at the plant and should not be the same bovs who helo on the trucRs. All persons who have waste paper and cannot bring it in themselves are asKed to can scout headquarters, 2350, and a truck will be dispatched to pick it up. To facilitate handling paper must be securely tied in bundles with heavy cord; newspaper, magazines and corrugated ship ping cases each tied separately. Failure to have the paper tied properly will result in the price paid .being cut. Grand Mufti Given "Keep Going" Order London, May 8. (U.R) The Swiss radio said today that a German military plane carrying the grand mufti of Jerusalem, two members of his suite and two military persons," landed in Swiss territory today. Removal of the grand mufti and his companions from Switz erland was ordered immediately. the Swiss report said.
