TEH MEDFCSD MAIL TRIBUNE Your Health and It's Care By OR. WILLIAM BRADY M.D. Reuderi should addrcn Inquiries to: Dr William Brady. 266 El Camino Btvarly Hills Calif. THE YANKEE WAY My wife and I, both thirty four years of age, have two chil dren aged three and seven We both feel it Is beyond our means to p r o p e rly raise any addi dren, In fact It Is.do'ibtful If we will be able to pro vide the type of e d u cation for the two that we feel every Amfrt can youth should have . . The constant Dr. Brady fear of possl lble . . . contributes to unhap piness In our home. Would a sterilization operation be the logical answer .to our problems? (Signed . ) It Is as logical an answer for the family problem as Is suicide for an Individual problem. If statute law does not define such sterilization as a felony it Is because America is already on the way to defeat In the next great war. By your yardstick or stand ard, young man, I would never have been born. I was No 3 Irf a ramlly of lour cniioren, ana how were my parents to provide the type of education for us chil dren that they felt even poor children should have on an in come of $35 a month! . One-child sterility may or may not be Intentional in some Instances it is fate, in some it is the consequences of specific in fection, and in some it Is achiev ed at any hazard to the wife. That's just Yankee chivalry. In the name of health and happiness and 1 do not orrfess to be an economic, moral or re ligious adviser I say that no one who Is not ready and lit for parenthood should be permitted to marry. Period. Trouble with too many young men and women today Is that they think they must have $30 pencils when a Sc pencil and a $1 pen would serve every pur pose.
