' Promoted Douglas Eden, 21-year-old B-17 bombardier, who has served as lead bombardier for Eighth Air Force bombers on several missions over Germany, has been promoted to the rank of first lieutenant, a news re lease from England states. He files with the 100th Bombard ment Group, a unit of the Eighth Air Force Third Air Division and has bombed targets at Ber lin, Coblenz, Cologne, Kassel and other industrial strongholds of Germany, t'..a release states.
