LOCAL and PERSONAL Raturii Mrs. S. M. Herbert and Miss Helen Herbert re turned February 14 to their or chard home east of Medford after making their home in Los Angeles for the past two years. Miss Herbert was employed in the Engineering department of the Hughes aircraft while there. Back to School Lawrence Wilson, AS, left Friday for Helena, Mdnt., after visiting his family in Medford the past five days. Seaman Wilson will re sume his studies at Carroll Col lege where he is enrolled under the Navy V-12 training program. Hadcliff. 731 West Jackson street, attempted to pass Cul bertson as he stopped for a stop light at an intersection on East Main street, it was stated in an accident report Saturday. . Visit En Route Mrs. Lloyd Gantenbein of Lakeview and her son, Cecil J. Gantenbein, his wife and little daughter, and V. McHaley, visited in Medford Saturday en route to Lakeview. The Gantenbeins are former res idents here and now operate a bakery in the Lake county me tropolis. Cecil Gantenbein and McHaley are first class petty officers in the navy and are on furlough duty at Whidby Island naval air station. Fllnk In Navy Lee FJink, lor the past two years a con troller at Medford airfield, was inducted into the navy February 20 at Fort Lewis, Wash., and has been sent to San Diego for boot training. He expects to be assigned to radar or control tower duty later. Fllnk has been active in the Elks club and in basketball circles, here. Mrs. Flink and their daughter will make their home with her par ents in Areata, Calif.
