EGYPT DECLARES PREMIER KILLED Cairo, Teb. 24 (U.R) While parliament was declaring war on Germany and Japan today, a young extremist shot and killed Premier Dr. Ahmed Maher Pasha. Maher had Just completed his address to an extraordinary ses sion of the chamber of deputies when he was shot down. He was on his way from the chamber to the senate. As he crossed the intervening lawn, a young man rose from hiding in . the garden and fired at him with a revolver. Four bullets struck Maher and one pierced his heart. He died instantly. The youth was caught and al most lynched. (The dispatch did not Identify the assailant as other than a "young extremist.")
