Main Phone 5335 a A i --" f ann ns Apple aphlds yearly cause considerable com mercial damage to apples in the Rogue River Valley and other important apple growing districts. ' This problem may easily be solved by spray ing with DN-Dry Mix added to the regularly used dormant spray oil and applied to the trees during the dormant season. This spray ' gives a COMPLETE SEASON CONTROL for the reason it kills all aphis eggs contacted, thus stopping the pest colore it hatches. DN-Dry Mix when applied as recommended as a true dormant pray will not interfere with subsequent scale sprays; it assists in scale control with oil, is easy to mix, and requires no spreader, sticker or wetting agent One thorough application per year is sufficient. For further information on DN-Dry Mix for aphid control, or on DN-iJl for the control of rust mites and spider mites in this area, we suggest you consult your County Horticulturist or your local Dow Insecticide Dealer. Main Dial 9170 HARDENING of the ARTERIES Some hardening of the arteries is usually considered a normal accompaniment o f advancing age. But If this condition is pre mature or excessive it should be regarded as a condition of dis ease. Arteriosclerosis hardening of the arteries usually involves the arteries quite generally. But often some particular organ, as the brain, eyes, kidney, or heart is especially affected. It is for this reason that clinical mani festations are often, at least in part, attributed to localized le sions. So the arteries in areas where they can be felt may be normal, at least for the age, while those of the brain, for in stance, may be quite hard. This condition Is much easier prevent-1 ed than cured. So keep your ner-1 vous and circulatory systems and ellminative organs funrtinnlne normally the Naturopathic way, I and enjoy health longer.
