Siskiyou Highway Reported Slippery Ashland, Dec. 20 The Siski you mountain section of the Pa cific highway is very slippery, according to a report from the weather bureau atop the moun tain: ' Chains should be used. Two or three inches of snow fell Wednesday night and snow plows have been unable to get the roads entirely clear of snow. Salem, Ore., Dee. 29 (U.B The new 194S automobile regis tration stickers must be at tached to vehicles on and after Jan. 1, Secretary of State Rob ert S. Farrell, Jr., warned Ore gon motorists today. With only three days remaining in which to obtain the stickers, there are more than 250,000 who have not applied as yet. A total of 163,378 applications have been received so far, Fat rell said. Application may be made by mail to the Salem of fice, or In person to the two Portland branch offices of the state department. Ross. A large delegation of Medford Legionnaires will meet at the Medford hotel at 6 p. m. where they will pool their cars for the drive to Central Point.
