It Is understood that news reel pictures were taken of the bat tle. Lt. Mace's brother, Lt. (jg) Robert Mace, is also on sea duty in the Pacific at present. The lieutenants' father is a veteran of the last world war, having been wounded. Both young men have been in the navy since the start of the war and both are graduates - of Medford high school and attended Oregon State college. CHARGES FIXED FOR OIL BURNER REPAIR SERVICE Top hourly rates that may be charged for repairing oil burn ers and coal stokers have been announced by the district OPA price division. For the Medford district a rate of $1.50 may be charged for the first hour with $1.23 for second and succeeding hours for maintenance and re pair of oil burners burning No. 5 oil or lighter and similar serv ices for coal stokers with ca pacity under 1200 pounds per hour, the announcement 'states. The rates include transporta tion, time spent going to and from the job and all other charges, the statement reads.
