Elno Hemmlla, Medford, gen eral manager of the George A. Hunt theatres, has this week been named one of the state co- chairmen of the War Activities committee's Sixth War Loan drive for Oregon. The committee is a national organization of which every theatre owner and manager in the United States some 16,000 is a member. Their functions are to promote all activities, which further ending of the war, Mr, Hemmlla is a member of long-standing and has con tributed much to trie success of the organization. Independent theatre owners of the nation have been asked to spearhead the Sixth War Loan Drive, which starts November 20. The independent theatre own ers and managers of Oregon are. therefore, playing an important part in the forthcoming drive and are planning many state wide functions, including night bond premieres, a free movie day and children's war bond matl nees.
