The Office of Defense Trans portation reported that all criti cal needs were being met through special allocations and would continue to be filled until next month's quota was released. Non-essential motorists, how ever, were faced with the pros pect of having their "A" coupon become worthless by the end of 1944. In Bakersfield last night at a meeting of the San Joaquin Val ley Oil Producer association, Ralph K. Davies, deputy ad ministrator of the petroleum administration for war, an nounced that west coast gasoline supplies would be barely suffi cient for essential activities, ' He said there was not enough oil to meet the colossal demands of the military in the Pacific and implied that "A" coupons would have no value by the end of 1944.
