Smith of this city and James Brownley, also of Medford, were arrested by state police yester day on charges of failure to stop at a stop sign. Smith was cited to appear in Justice court July 25 and Brownley July 28. Donald Elmer Gauldin and By ron Woodard Gauldin,. both of Grants Pass, were arrested yes terday for operating an auto mobile without a motor vehicle license and no PUC permit. They will appear in justice court tomorrow. GOLD HILL, DIES Mrs. Mary Jane Morelock passed away at her home in Gold Hill Wednesday afternoon at the age of 87. She was born In Brownsville, Oregon, December 23, 1854. On March 27, 1875 she was united in marriage to J. B. R. Morelock, who preceded her in death. They came to Gold Hill in 1891 where she had residec" -jontinu- ously since. She is survived by six chil dren: O. W. Morelock. Retsil. Wn., Richard Morelock, Weed, Calif., Mrs. Annie McFarren and Mrs. Lela Field. Los An geles, Calif. Mrs. Morelock was the mother of the late Mrs. Oris Crawford. Services will be in I.O.O.F. hall In Gold Hill Monday morn ing at 10:30 with the Rev. D. E. Millard officiating.
