GOLD HILL, DIES
Mrs. Mary Jane Morelock
passed away at her home in
Gold Hill Wednesday afternoon
at the age of 87.
She was born In Brownsville,
Oregon, December 23, 1854. On
March 27, 1875 she was united
in marriage to J. B. R. Morelock,
who preceded her in death.
They came to Gold Hill in 1891
where she had residec" -jontinu-
ously since.
She is survived by six chil
dren: O. W. Morelock. Retsil.
Wn., Richard Morelock, Weed,
Calif., Mrs. Annie McFarren
and Mrs. Lela Field. Los An
geles, Calif. Mrs. Morelock was
the mother of the late Mrs. Oris
Crawford.
Services will be in I.O.O.F.
hall In Gold Hill Monday morn
ing at 10:30 with the Rev. D. E.
Millard officiating. Interment
will be In Rock Point cemetery.
