Only a few h6urs after an eight-month suspension had been lifted, the slim track star blazed a mile in 4 minutes, 6.2 seconds last night, clipping two-tenths of a second off the recognized world record estab lished five years ago by Sydney Wooderson of Great Britain. Hagg nosed out Arne Ander son, who tied Wooderson's world mark of 4:60.4. If the international amateur athletic federation meets some time after the war to approve new records, Hagg will have two marks up for consider ation. He stepped the 1.300 meters In 3:47.6 last year, lowering by two-tenths of a second the rec ognized world standard set by Jack Lovelock in the 1936 Olympic games.
