Advance information rm the Owl Drugs, from Manager Otto Olson, reveals the club won 18 and lost seven since starting winter league play. The team captured the pennant In the Vallev leaeue. fntfat aml.nro circuit on the peninsula, and also has copped two Recreation loop flags In a row. By The Associated Press Basehita were common last night at San Francisco where the Seals pounded Portland hurlers Lee Stine and Ad Liska for IS hits aad a 13 to 7 victory in i-acinc coast league baseball. Kermit Lewis, San Francisco outfielder, clouted three-run homer to put his teammates ahead In the first inning of wild game. Bob Joyce. Seal twlrler, was unsteady early in the game and he gave the Beavers three runs in the second, three more in the third, and one tally In tha fourth on seven hits and a walk. He finished the game with a record of nine hits. Ray Perry, Seal second base man, rapped out a three-run homer in the third for one-run margin over the Beavers. Lewis, who led the batting with three hits In five times at bat, appeared to be out of the game in the fourth inning when he crashed into Larry Barton at first base and knocked him self out. He revived and finish ed the game, however. Sacramanto increased its lead in the standings to three games by reason of a S to 4 decision over Oakland. The team batting average of the Los Angeles Angels is slight ly lower today and Wally He bert, San Diego pitcher. Is re sponsible for the drop.
