A. Gates, county bond chairman. The week's bond cam paign will be brought to a close Monday after an active week throughout the county. At a meeting last evening at the Eagles hall, members of Eagles aerie voted to purchase $2,500 in bonds for the lodge in their effort to back the cam paign week. All babies born at Community hospital during the Emmens bond week are receiving $2.00 in de fense stamps, Mr. Gates said to day. The county chairman is confident that results of the week will be an outstanding rec ord and release of total figures on the campaign will be made public at the close of the week. Six Die in Smashup of 2-Molor Bomber On Training Flight Denver, May 29 (IP) Lowry Field officials announced that a plane which crashed and burned near LaSalle, Colo., today, kill ing at least six persons, was a two-engine medium bomber on a routine training flight from Lowry. The craft took off from the U. S. army air school at 9:1 B a, m. and crashed about 10 o'clock, of ficials said. The dead Included: Corp. James O. Flourney Pvt. Louis Garcia Pvt. Alex Chavarrio Edwin P. Kelly, civilian em ploye at the air school. Names of the pilot and co pilot were withheld pending fur ther examination of the wreck age, Lowry officials said.
