Miss Paley is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jo.in F. White of 220 Laurel street Jn this city. Given in marriage by C. B McMath, former Medford resi dent, the bride chose for her wedding ensemble a navy faille suit and carried a bouquet of butterfly orchids. Her attend' rnt Mrs. Kathleen Howxll of San Francisco wore an aqua marine suit and carried orchids. Tad Mauvaia of San Francisco was best man. The bride's grawd mother wore dusty pink suit. ,". Following the wedding the couple left for Carmel for a wedding trip and upon their return will make their home at 1650 Jones street in the bay city Mrs. Sanborn attended the local schools and the University or Oregon where she was afflli ted with Gamma Phi Beta so cial sorority. Mr. Sanborn at tended Santa Rosa Junior col lege and Is employed by an In surance company. "Priorities On Glamour" Theme Of Style Show "Priorities on Glamour," a style show, sponsored annually by the Junior Guild of St. Mark's Episcopal church will begin tomorrow evening at 7:30 o'clock In the parish hall on North Oakdale avenue. The af fair is open to the public and tickets may be secured from Guild members, at the office In Mann's department store or at the door. Dessert will be served followed by the style parade and cards for those who care to play. A final dress rehearsal of the 1942 styles and "priorities" will be held this afternoon at the parish hall at 2 o'clock. Patricia Whalen, Bernard Corum Wed In Portland Miss Patricia Whalen of Port land and Bernard Comm. son of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Corum of 345 South Central avenue, Med ford, were married In Portland April 11 at St. Stephen's church at 9 a. m. with the Rev. Father Whalen, cousin of the bride, reading the service. The bride was given In mar riage by her step-father. E. J. Rogers. She wore a dusty pink tailored suit with a corsage of white orchids. She was at tended by her sister. Miss Jean Whalen, who wore a blue tail ored suit with a corsage of wlute gardenias and pink rosebuds. Charles MorrLiy was best man. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served in the gold dining room of the Roosevelt hotel and later a re ception was held at their apart ment, 1888 S. W. Tenth avenue. A wedding cake was served dur ing the afternoon to relatives and friends. Attending from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. George H. Corum and Mrs. D. B. Long ol this city; Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Before residing In Portland Mr. Corum was employed at Hotel Medford and is now an employe of Hotel Roosevelt in Portland where the couple will make their home. A.A.U.W. Study Groups To Meet Mrs. Kenneth Wells will en tertain members of the A.A.U.W. drama group at her home. 602 Wet Fourth street Monday at 1:30 p. m. ' Flynn-Allworth Wedding Read At St. Mark's Church St. Mark's church, decorated with apple blossoms, white snap dragons, palms and ferns with lighted tapers formed the setting for the wedding yesterday after noon of Miss Jackl Flynn and Ed Allworth: Jr. The ritei were lead at 3 o'clock by the Rev. Harold G Gardner, rector of St. Mark's church. The bridal party entered the church to traditional wedding music played by Mrs. Eva Marsh The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Diamond Flynn of this city and Mr. Allworth is the son of Major and Mrs. E. C. Allworth of Corvallls. Given In marriage by her fa ther, the bride wore a white tatln wedding gown fashioned with long sieves and a train trimmed in lace The finger-tip veil was held in place by lilies of the valley. She wore a trand of pearls and carried a bouquet of white orchids and lilies of the valley, with 4 cascade of phalae nopsis orchids and white satin 'ibbons. Mary Shreve of Salem was maid of honor and chose for her wedding costume an ice blue satin formal with a pearl neck lace. Her bouquet was of pale pink bouvardia with phaluenop sls orchids and satin ribbons. Tom Hardy of Eugene was best man. Ushers were Gordon Green and TUman Formcn. The bride's mother wore a navy blue redingote of silk-with blue and white accessories and a corsage of gardenias and white bouvardia. Mrs. Allwortn, the bridegroom's mother wore a black suit with matching acces sories and corsage of gar denias. A reception followed the wed ding at the home of Mr and Mrs. Ben J. Trowbridge, uncle and aunt of the bride. The table was decorated with trailing gar denias and lighted tapers In silver candelnbras. The three- tiered wedding cake, topped by miniature bride and groom was first cut by the bride. Pouring durmg the reception were Mrs. Ernest Scott, Mrs. Sylvia Shreve of Salem, Mrs. H. E. Quiet Ceremony Weds Leah Evans, Norman Kerr, Jr. At a morning ceremony at the f irst Baptist church in Ashland Saturday, April 11, Miss Leah Etta Evans, daughter of Mrs. Leon Evans of this city and Nor man M. Kerr, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman M. Kerr of Ashland were quietly married. The ceremony was read by the ur. w. H. Eaton, pastor of the rirst Baptist church. The bride wore dusty rose frock with turf tan accessories and carried a bouquet of sweet peas and rosebuds. She was at tended by her sister, Miss Zethel Evans, who wore lem onade pink dress with luggage tan accessories and a corsage of rosebuds and sweet peas. Rich ard Kerr, brother of the bride groom, was best man. After a short trip to the coast the couple are making their home in Durell court. Mrs. Kerr teaches school at Central Point and Mr. Kerr is employed by standard OH company. Former Resident in Concert Jean Hayse Tells Wedding Date at Party Phoenix. April 18. fSnll An announcement party held Friday evening at the Wood ford Turpin home revealed the wedding date of Miss Jean Hayse of Phoenix to Richard Wright of Medford. Each guest was presented a corsage with a tiny scroll attached and when openea announced June 19 as the marriage date. During the evening the guests made an imaginary scrapbook of Miss Hayse future life. Refreshments were served to Helen Collins.
