The land at present is covered entirely by California foxtail, a grass of no value for grazing, said Otto C. F. Krueger, O & C district ranger. The present re seeding project is to cover about 200 acres. If this experiment proves successful, the two in terior department divisions will carry out an extensive range development program v on the grazing and brush lands of southern Oregon, Mr. Krueger said, the project, however, to be limited definitely to areas classified as grazing lands as determined by an O C re classification survey now being made. A seed mixture of English rye. bulbous bluegrass, lotus and ladino clover is being Introduced in the experimental reseeding project. The only cooperation required of stockmen is that they defer grazing stock on the rcseeded area until about May 1, Mr. Krueger related. Seeding will be done by a CCC crew from Camp Williams Creek under the direction of Richard DeCamp, senior fore man. The entire project is under the supervision of Mr. Krueger. Beagle Beagle, Oct. S.
