Neff, Medford attorney, returned by train this morning from Port land where he transacted busi ness for several days. ' From Portland D orothy Dickinson, of the Dickinson Pre serving company in Portland, is transacting business here for several days. She is registered at the Hotel Medford. On Businsss Tom Kiess of Eugene is attending to business in this city for several days. He Is associated with Proctor Gamble company. Catches Limit Mrs. D. B. (Bub) Crosby went fishing last evening below Bybee bridge and caught the limit, IS. This marked the first time Mrs. Crosby had caught a limit of fish. Her husband caught only 12 fish. Church Camp Final services for several weeks will be held Sunday in the Apostolic Faith church on North Central avenue at Third street. From July 7 to August 11 the annual Apostolic Faith summer camp will be held in Portland. Services at the church here will be resumed August 18. Minor Accidents Dr. O. J. Halboth of Loring court and Bill Meier of route 1 drove cars In volved in a minor accident on East Main street between River side avenue and Bartlett street Thursday evening, a report on file said today. Roland R. Pat rick of 543 Effie street and Ole E. Civil service commission today an nounced open competitive ex aminations for the following po sitions: alphabetic card-punch operator, $1260 a year, and un der card-punch operator, $1260 a year; instructor. Air Corps Technical school, army air corps, $3800 a year and various lower grades ranging to $2000 a year; associate aeronautical inspector, $3500 a year, and as sistant, $3200 year, civil aero nautics authority; graduate nurse, $168.75 a month, for Pan ama Canal service only; and junior farmer, $2000 a year, bureau of prisons. In the war in the west Ger man bombers raided Britain for the seventh time in 10 days, ranging from southeast England to southeast Scotland. Money order forms were stolen from the Tobias, Neb., postoffice on June 10 and since then several of the forms have been forged and cashed in South Dakota and Montana cities.
