Catches Limit Mrs. D. B.
(Bub) Crosby went fishing last
evening below Bybee bridge
and caught the limit, IS. This
marked the first time Mrs.
Crosby had caught a limit of
fish. Her husband caught only
12 fish.
Church Camp Final services
for several weeks will be held
Sunday in the Apostolic Faith
church on North Central avenue
at Third street. From July 7 to
August 11 the annual Apostolic
Faith summer camp will be held
in Portland. Services at the
church here will be resumed
August 18.
Minor Accidents Dr. O. J.
Halboth of Loring court and Bill
Meier of route 1 drove cars In
volved in a minor accident on
East Main street between River
side avenue and Bartlett street
Thursday evening, a report on
file said today. Roland R. Pat
rick of 543 Effie street and Ole
E. Hagen of route 4 operated
vehicles involved in a mishap
at Fourth and Fir streets Thurs
day afternoon, according to a re
port on file today.

man bombers raided Britain for
the seventh time in 10 days,
ranging from southeast England
to southeast Scotland. The Bri
tish government said there was
"no serious damage" and "very
slight casualties."

7 Firemen Hurt
Seattle. June 23. (P) Seven
firemen were injured, two seri
ously, by falling timbers, when
flames of undetermined origin
today swept the 12-acre plant of
the Bolcom-Canal Lumber com
pany, damaged the nearby Great
Northern railroad trestle and set
fire to five small homes.

submarines estimated to cost
$154,577,000.
Funds for the vessels were in
eluded In the 81,768.9.13,000 sup
plemental defense appropriation
which President Roosevelt signed
yesterday.
The warships were assigned
for construction to five navy
yards.

Business men were counselled
by Postmaster Frank DeSouza
today to be wary of accepting
forged money orders.
Money order forms were
stolen from the Tobias, Neb.,
postoffice on June 10 and since
then several of the forms have
been forged and cashed in
South Dakota and Montana
cities.
Law enforcement authorities
should be notified Immediately
if any of the stolen forms are
presented for cash, Mr. De
Souza said. The stolen forms
were numbers 9840L to 98600,
inclusive.
