Gustin, prin cipal of Jackson school, also spoke briefly. County School Superintendent C. R. Bowman addressed the noon luncheon at Hotel Med ford. In the afternoon session Ben Trowbridge of Trowbridge ac Flynn presented an interesting display of florescent lighting and discussed school lighting. A large gathering ol Rotarlans and guests heard him discuss various phases of the motor transport industry and general highway transportation throughout the west in relation to national defense. Aa western representative of the National Highway Users' conference, Mr. Springer has contributed much toward re moval of highway barriers be tween state as pertaining to highway transportation and has worked unceasingly in the in terest of uniformity of state laws regulating highway use.
