Dorothy Lamour, singing hero ine of '"Road to Singapore." has returned to another South Sea setting, but this time she brings less cloth. Instead of a sarong Dorothy has wrapped her bron led skin in a scantier costume, called a lava lava. The combi nation of Technicolor and her briaht cloth has coined a new word Techniclurel Robert Preston, who plays op posite Dorothy, and Lynne Over man, abandon tneir pean-num- ing submarine on the uninhab ited island where Dorothy was shiDwrecked ten years before and now lives with her trained chimpanzee companion, high in a jungle pent-house, itiey are beine pursued by a Polynesian chief who wants their blood. Sus- Dense follows suspense as mu tiny of J. Carrol Naish ends in shipwreck, as Robert Preston Is lost, and captured by Dorothy and Chippy the chimpanzee.
