Lord Loth ian, British ambassador to the United States, told the Chicago council on foreign relations last night. "If and when the attack comes," he added, "it will be with all the ferocity and ruth lessness the Nazis have taught us to expect." The ambassador expressed the belief that the anticipated at tack would be repelled and if repelled as decisively as was the big German offensive of 1918 "it will not be long before Hit lerism itself goes down to de feat."
