(SpU Funeral services were held in the Dodge chapel this afternoon for Daniel L. Glenn, 95, last ' surviving member of Burnside : post. Grand Army of the Re-, public. The Rev. Melville T. ! Wire, pastor of the Methodist j church, officiated. Burial took ; place in the Ashland cemetery. Mr. Glenn died in a hospita' ' here Sunday night a few days after he had suffered a frae-1 hired hip in a fall. He had been a resident of Ashland since 18S3 ', He was born December 12 ' 1 Q A A (. n all Indiana when he was five years old. When the Civil war broke out, he enlisted with company K, 82nd Indiana regiment and earned the rank of corporal. He served in the Union army three years, was wounded at Chicka- mauga September 20, 1863. and , Ati,nt- Ai-irt 7 " gf. ' 1864. In 18T2 Mr. Glenn and Marv . - - 4therl"e Hargrove were mar ried. In 1889 the faniilv moved , !?'f;e vVshinon and from 'there to Ashland in 1893. Mr. G-ennwas a building contractor, a business he engaged in for many years after coming here. Survivors are a daughter Mrs. T. H. Simpson of Ashland, three sisters. Mrs. H. M. Bear of Lvn wood, Cal., Mrs. Myra Johnson of Lodi, Cal., and Mrs. Belle Bvfield of Tulsa. Okla., a niece. Mrs.' H. J.
