The fifth shock absorber, recently Introduced by Packard, will greatly Increase the riding comfort of the maharajah's car. It controls lateral movements of the frame and body caused by road in equalities In much the same manner that the four usual shock absorbers restrain vertical movements of the frame and body. "The next two months will see the Buick plants In Flint operating virtually at capacity and employ ment at a peak for the year." Mr. Skinner said. "Unusually heavy demand for the new models has necessitated further upward revision of production sche dules and a revamping of manu facturing plans for the coming year, looking to the output of some 6u.- 000 more cars than were orlglnallv projected and a sales program con templating a 50 percent incrense over the 1938 season." Since the low point In 1938 em ployment, more than 9.000 men have been returned to full time work, Mr. Skinner said. He added that Buick employment now Is about at maximum. 1 Z DRUMHELLER.
