From there to Yreka, Cal and lived some time In Utah, moving bark to Siskiyou oounty In 1875, where hellved for 50 years. He owned and operated large ranch near Ager, OU. for many years Bnd It was there that he and Mrs. Desavedo reared their family. Coming to southern Oregon four years ago. He 'was ft pioneer of nor thern California, and helped in the development of that section. He was a good Christian nvin. fine neighbor and friend, and leaves many friends to murn his depsrture.
