Sams Valley Grange A discussion of the county tax situation covered an Important por tion of last Grange meeting, when some conditions were brought to light by the legislative chairman, which were heretofore unfamiliar to many of the members. Two new namea were read as ap plicants for membership. Norma Sage was obligated In the third and fourth degrees. More money donated by Medford merchants waa turned over to the building fund. This fund was also Increased by funds left In the Juve nlle treasury. The latter amount was loaned the building committee until the Juveniles can be reorganized. Members were again advised to have material ready for the auction sale September 33. Cooked food, farm produce or fancy work will be gladly accepted for the auction, the funds of which are to be used to com plete the hfill. A good program will be given free to the public before the auction begins. Everyone wel come. Lecturer's program consisted of a very clever skit put on by three mem bers of the Y.O.A. of the Central Point Orange; a whistling bird trill by Mrs. Edna Pyle and a writing and reading of telegrams by the members from the word cultivator. The program for next Saturday night's meeting will be put on by navy reserve officers and will con sist of travel pictures of Interesting scenfs of the world.
