The story, a simple relation of domestic entanglements, tells of the young man of the family who not only braves his father's wrath by buying a secondhand car without permission, but also becomes entan gled with three girls at the same time. Mickey Rooney Is given the biggest role he has played so far In the series, providing the maelstrom a r o ii n d which the plot revolves. His rapidly Increasing popularity makes him an Ideal representative of the typical American boy. Lewis Stone again Is the kindly, discerning Judge, head of a typical family of five. This marks his third appearance In the role of Judge Hardy. Judy Garland has been added to the "family group." York, vice president and general manager of Southern Oregon Gas Corporation, who announces custom ers' savings up to 20 per cent. "In putting Into effect new low rates for schedule 2. domestic heating service, nnd schedule 4, domestic wat er heating, we arc carrying out the original pledge of our president. Mr. J. A. Ward, that gas rates would he lowered as rapidly as possible con sistent with sound management and good service," said York. "The object of these new, low rates Is to encourage Increased utili zation of gas for all domestic needs through making the advantages of modern gas appliances available to more homes at lower cost." The uttlllty executive pointed out that these October 1 rate reductions made in the face of steadily rising taxes and operating costs, further substantiate Mr. Ward's economic theory. "In every case when we have cut rates," concluded York, "the do mand for gas appliances and gas fuel has rapidly increased.
