Eagle Point Grange had good at tendance at the last meeting, with visitors present from many subor dinate Granges of the county Committee reports were interest ing and the lecture hour program was especially fine. Next meeting will be held In our new hall and members are overjoyed to again meet In a hall of our own. For six years we have been without a horns of our own. getting along with many Inconveniences, and the prospect of a beautiful and modern home again fills us with added en thusiasm, although we have pros pered throughout the past few years In spite of financial losses and In conveniences. The new hall Is completely finished with exception of some basement fin ishing. The windows will i have monks cloth curtains and the stage curtains wul be of national blue velours with gold trimming. New officers' furniture la being built by Lyle Smith, one of our boys. Large dome lights will furnish Illumination. The main hall has both front and rear entrance and exit, a front hall from which one enters a commodious anteroom, and two rest-rooms. A drinking fountain la Installed In the front hall. City water Is on tap throughout the building. Basement will house kitchen, din ing room and Juvenile Grange hall, and both front and rear entrances. The kitchen has running water, large sink and hot water tank. Trie fine dratnboard and the material for the dining tables was donated by Holly Swingle, .. It Is expected that the large grounds surrounding the hall will be landscaped and planted during the next year, thus furnishing a proper "setting for the hall. Refreshments were served at the lost meeting by Mr. and Mrs. Wm Holman and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Force. Nealon, followed by stunts by ladles from tha various Oranges: a skit, "The Ladles' Aid Scandal," by ladlea of Talent Orange: Inspirational readlnga by Bertha Hasklna ot Upper Applegate Orange, and vocal duet with guitar accompaniment by Clam Smith and Oladys Byrne. A wonderful dinner waa aerved to the hungry Orangers by Upper Ap plegate group, Ice cream and Ice cold pop being eapeclally welcome on tha very warm day. A hearty vote of thanks waa tender ed the Upper Aplegete group for their fine hoapltallty. Special Meeting.
