FRID'AY, .TUNE 3, 1938 - $100 AND 30 DAYS FOR FARM HAND ON A Justice court Jury returned a ver dict yesterday afternoon finding La Vert Twltchell, 38, farmhand, guilty of driving an auto while under the Influence of Intoxicating liquor. The Jury deliberated ten minutes. Twltchell was sentenced to 30 days In the county Jail, fined $100 and his driver's license was. suspended for one year. Another Justice court Jury yester day returned a verdict of not guilty. In favor of Louie Thomson, charged with petty larceny. The action in ' volved portions of a well-drilling out fit. Albert A. Rogers and Wayne Olson, recent arrivals from Klamath Fall, charged with attempting to rob a rooming house, were each sentenced to 60 days In Jail on a vagrancy charge. The court rejected thsir pleas to be allowed to go to Cali fornia, where they claimed they bad employment. Trenton Tucker, charged with haul ing more than allowed, under a farm ers' license, was assessed $1 and cosrta, Tucker, en route to Klamath Falls, had 4.090 pounds of Mrs w berries aboard, while the limit la 4,000 pounds. TO PLAY SUNDAY Although the Craters travel to Glandule Sunday, Med ford baseball fans won't be without their favorite sports dish. Mrs. Elsie McMerrlck and chil dren, Alice and George, Mrs. Reed and two children of Leland, called Monday evening at the home of. Mr. and Mrs. 8. A. Dusenberry. They had visited relatives at Williams creek. Jacksonville and Med ford. Mr. and Mrs. John Wilde, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kendall of Qranta Pass, visited Saturday evening with their parent.
