Quite a few people from this com munity attended the spring concert given by the Medford high school or chestra and glee clubs in the senior high school auditorium, Mny IB. Wnlter Charley and daughters, Clarabel and Rosalie, visited his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Riley. n - hot 10 Owing to school activities and pri mary election being the same day. the Antelope Literary club did not have a very elaborate program at its Irst meeting. However, the young folks played games and sang while the older people were visiting, and an enjoyable time was had. Antelope and Liberty schools Joined forces on their closing date. May 10. and amused parents with a circus. In cluding side-shows. After a picnic lunch was served, report cards were distributed. Members of Antelope Union Sunday school are sorry Darrel Stanley has been unable to attend for several weeks because of Illness. It Is hoped he will soon regain his health. Daily vacation Bible school will open tomorrow for two weeks, at Antelope schoolhouse, with Misses Verna and Beth Cingcade and Almeta Day teach ing the classes, All young people and children are cordially Invited to at tend these studies. Miss Demmer. daughter of Mrs. Lily S. Demmer of 609 West Jackson boule vard, received her bachelor of arts degree from the university several years ago. She was awarded her mas ter's degree with honors. Her major wa Spanish and her thesis. "A Fre quency study of the Third Person Object Pronouns in the Don Quijote."
