rtPTGE EIGHT LEGISLATIVE VOTE Senator Ounn Received 3309 to 838 for Mrs. Pomeroy for Republican Senato rial Nomination. Th Jackson county legislative tickets, In the November general lection, According to official counts completed by the canraulng board, wilt comprlae on the Republican ticket State Senator George W. Dunn of Aihland for the senate, and E. T. Newbry of Talent and Attorney Wil liam McAllister of Med ford, for the house. Senator Dunn, according to the of ficial count, received 8,309 votes and nil opponent, Ariel Burton Pomeroy of the Central Point district, 838, McAllister was renominated with 2,736 votes, and Newbry received 000 votes. Both were unopposed. On the Democratic ticket, for rep resentatlves, R. O. Stephenson re oelved 170 votes and W. H. McNatr 100. Both were write-In candidates. Stephenson, a former representative declined to file for nomination. 2,403 for Hamilton Moore Hamilton, editor of the Med ford News, unopposed, received the Democratic state senatorial nomina tion and polled 2,403 votes, the offl- olat count shows. For other uncontested state offices, Emily Ed son, Democratic candldato for secretary of state, polled 2,276 votes. Secretory of State Earl Snell, Republican candidate, received 4,140 votes. Charles A. Rice, unopposed Republican candidate for superin tendent of public Instruction, polled 9,397 votes. The official count on the Repub lican ticket for county offices fol lowed closely the unofficial count. For sheriff, the offlcllal count Showed : Brock way . An eight-footer for a 4 at No. 15, where Yates was short again, put the Bcot on even terms, and he went ahead for the first time on No. 17, where Yates sliced Into the sand. Charley then took the next two holes for the match. At the 18tb, while Thomson got In trouble, Yates played two down the middle of the green, squaring the match with a par 4. Butte Falls BUTTE FALLS, May 27. (Spl.) George Coats was Injured In a car wreck on the Klamath Palls road last Friday. He la In a Medford hospital. His family moved to Med ford on Saturday.
