Meeting Wednesday Jackson coun ty planning commission and Jackson county court will meat in the court chamber at 2 p. m. next Wednesday. Karl L. Janouch, commission chair men, will preside. The meeting will review the Inventory of county-owned lands which la just about com pleted, Mr, Janouch said. Possible future planning activities will also be considered, he stated. The meet ing will be atended by Arthur Dam- schen, field superintendent of WPA projects under Jurisdiction of the state planning board, and V. B Stan bery, the board's technical consultant. CHINESE PLANES MOP PROPAGANDA LEAFLETS N NIPPON TERRITORY HANKOW. China, May 30. (tfy The Chinese crews of two big American-made Martin) bombing planes were given a triumphal welcome to day when they returned from what Chinese army aviation headquarters descrl bed as a flight over western Japan in which leaflets were dropped Instead of bombs. The airmen were said to have cov ered 2 500 miles, the longest non-stop flight, ever made by Chinese fliers. Their enthusiastic homecoming oc curred at Hankow airdrome, which presumably was their point of de parture. The leaflets urged the Jap anese people to oppose the invasion of China. Premier H. H. Kung end War Min ister General Ho Yung-Ching headed the delegation of Chinese leaders that greeted them on the return. It was understood they visited principally the district containing Nagasaki, 470 miles from Shanghai, and Sssebo, the great naval baae 40 mile to the north from which many of Japan's transporta and warships put out for the China coast.
