The total amount pledged waa the greatest in the history of the church, exceeding the amount pledg ed lsst year by over 91.000. The finance committee, the pastor reports, believes that when the bal ance of outstanding pledgee is re ceived the entire budget will underwritten thus eliminating neces sity of the church depending on the loose offerings to balance the budget as has been the case many past years.
