Comparative scores against two common opponents reveal only a one touchdown difference between the teams. Oregon State tied Monmouth. 6-6. while the SONS lost to the same outfit, 0-6. The Rooks, tying Monmouth and losing to the Oregon Frosh twice, re turned to form last week with a 7-0 victory over tho strong University of Portland Frosh. One of the advocates of a 28-week season with an earlier starting date will be President William Lane of the San Diego Padres.
