Dates of the lectures at 8 p. m. are aa follow: October 37, 38. 39. November 1 and 3. Momlng lectures at 10 a. m. will be given October 38, 39 and Novem ber 3. Programs giving dates and subjects may be secured free of charge st the Mall Tribune office. Many people wonder why It Is that some seem to be so fortunate, having splendid health, fine position, charm ing personality, , hosts of friends plenty of money, and all the other good things of life, while others seem to be deprived of many of these things, being sick, unhappy and failures. It Is all very easily explained and understood, since everything In the universe Is under the operation of natural law. human life Is no ex ception to this rule, and those who have learned the rules of the ?ame of life are able to play It both happily and successfully. 'We are where we are because we are what we are," says Mrs. Sweet, "snd we are what we are because we have thought as we have, con sciously and aubconsclously." Thinking Determines. But. after all, what really matters tc not what you ai, not where you are, but what you want to be, for If there Is a sincere desire It can be accomplished. A person's thinking determines everything, the kind of food he eats, the kind of clothes ho wears, and what he Is. By turning one's thoughts Into constructive channels, Mrs. Sweet asserts, and by coming Into accord with the laws of life. It la possible to turn failure Into success, and change a gloomy out look on Ufa Into happiness and con tentment. It la perfectly natural and easy to be well, happy and successful through methods of right living and right thinking. Successful living Is a fine art which requires thoughtful study. says Mrs. Sweet. In a common sense, practical, help ful way, Mrs. Sweet discusses what constitutes true success, pointing out that self-satisfaction and Indiffer ence are the greatest obstacles to ad vancement snd achievement.
