To Close 9 Days United States navy recruiting sub-station in the Medford federal building will be closed from noon of September 18 to tbe morning of September 37. it was announced today by Ernest M. West, chief petty officer in charge. During that period Mr. West will be on furlough. Applicants for navy en listment were asked by Mr. West to contact him prior to the 18th or af ter the 27th. Mr. West plana to spend his leave hunting deer in eastern Oregon. To Resume sewing Members of Medford post auxiliary of the Amer ican Legion will meet this evening in room 308 of the United States Na tional bank building to resume their sewing project.
